Hi everyone. I’m Jordan Landes-Brenman, founder of Haute House PR and we’re here today at my showroom in Los Angeles and I’m going to be talking about the top three careers in fashion promotions. Number one, which is what I do is a fashion publicist and we are responsible for representing brands and getting them into magazines and then also getting them on Hollywood’s A List Celebrities and then having that translate into sales. Number two is a visual merchandisers and they are responsible once a product is in a retail store for displaying it in such a way within the window or the display in the store that makes it so visually appealing to consumers that they purchase the item. The third career is a social media strategist and they are responsible for building out the social media pages for a brand whether it’s their Instagram LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, any way they can promote the brand, an event they are having, a sale they are having, that’s what they are focusing on and putting it across their social media pages.
