Returning to NYFW for a second season, I figured I would know the drill; eat, sleep, fashion shows, repeat. Although I anticipated the changes with this season’s new show locations, the scattered venues called for a whole new level of organization upon arrival.
Fresh off a red eye, disoriented, and en route to my first show on day one of NYFW, a last minute rainfall made way for an impromptu photo shoot. One of the things I love the most about blogging and photography, is that it forces you to capture the little things, take note of the world around you, and enjoy life’s spontaneous moments. It’s such a good reminder, that I personally need to be more mindful of; even in the busiest and most chaotic of times, you can always take a minute to dance (or shoot!) in the rain.
Speaking of the world around you, let’s take a second to talk street style! If you’ve been following my NYFW adventures on Snapchat (@HauteHouseFlowr) and Instagram, you know that the trends and people watching was NEXT LEVEL this season! The street look was rampant with fringe, shades of cream, platform shoes, enormous sunglasses, ear dusters, and all things 1970’s (and a little bit of rocker early 80’s!) which reigned supreme.
