Hi, fashionistas! I’m Jordan Landes-Brenman, founder of Haute House PR. And today, we’re here at my showroom in Los Angeles, and I’m going to be discussing actresses that have an impact on fashion. One of the first actresses that comes to mind would have to be Sarah Jessica Parker, who’s known for her role in “Sex and the City,” both the TV series and, later, the movie. One of the number one trends that set Sarah Jessica apart, and really made her the star that she is today, was her obsession with shoes throughout the show, and also in real life. Her favorite shoe designer of all time, and a shoe brand that she really helped to put on the map, is Manolo Blahnik. Manolo Blahniks are very high-end luxury shoes. They’re known for being very outrageous and avant garde. Sarah Jessica Parker is also known for wearing really bright, colorful, and eclectic clothing – something like this tutu dress in a bright neon color is very, very SJP. Sarah Jessica Parker also did a collaboration with clothing house Halston, and did an offshoot line called Halston Heritage. So, that is her impact on the world of fashion. Next, I would not be in fashion if I did not obsess about Jennifer Lopez and her personal trademark style. A couple of the things that Jennifer is known for style-wise is always wearing a great neutral or kind of a dramatic fur. So, this is a great fur vest. Also, wearing aviator sunglasses, and then topping it off with a bold metallic cuff. Jennifer Lopez also has her own clothing line with Kohl’s, and has had a huge impact in the world of fashion. Last, but definitely not least, would have to be Kim Kardashian. She has really taken becoming a reality star and turned it into an acting career. She is known for her style, which is very edgy, but she really dresses for her body type. So, this is a very Kim K. outfit: A sheer blouse with a black bralette underneath. Also, adding a bold blazer in white, and then also a statement necklace. Kim also has her own clothing line and has just expanded upon the Kardashian empire.
