Hi, everyone, I’m Jordan Landes-Brenman, and today I’m going to be showing you how to temporarily hem your jeans. Being able to have a temporary hem is essential if your jeans are going to take you from day to night. Whether you are putting on flats or adding heals, you want to be able to wear the same pair of jeans. So there are a few ways that you can temporarily hem your jeans. And my tips, you can actually do while you’re wearing your jeans, I’m a on the go kind of person, and you may be as well. So, one of the first tips you can do even with double-stick tape. I’ve done it here with Velcro, just so it’s extra secure. Basically you take double stick tape, or Velcro, and you put it around the edge of your hem. You also put it a little bit further inside, probably about an inch to 2 inches, depending on how short you’d like the jeans to be, and then you merely fold over, attach the Velcro together, and voila, you have a hem that’s going to last you all day and be super secure. This is great if you’re wearing heels and then you change into flats and you need your jeans to be a little bit shorter, and you don’t have room in your bag to bring another pair with you. With skinny jeans you can also do this tip as well. You can fold them under and stick that tape in there. There’s also this great product called style snaps, which does something very similar and kind of keeps the edge a little bit more stiff, but these are all great tips for on the go, and you know, temporarily hemming your jeans. Thanks so much, and I will see you next time, bye bye.
