When it came to my wedding registry, I have to admit, I was a little nervous about the process. My fiancé Scott and I live in a tiny NYC apartment. We basically keep my high heels in the oven, and my sweaters in the storage cabinets. Translation: we definitely don’t have space for all of the traditional, large kitchen items that are typically included in wedding registries. While we certainly could use some new cookware, we wanted to create more of a MODERN wedding registry. We needed items to help us host our friends and family when they came to visit, so we decided to register with Bed Bath + Beyond.

THE BENEFITS OF REGISTERING AT BED BATH + BEYOND
In-Store Registry
There are a ton of advantages that come with registering at Bed Bath + Beyond, but more than anything else, the hands-on approach of our In-Store Expert (shoutout to our expert, Leo!) is what makes Bed Bath + Beyond the #1 place to register. While we could have just registered online on their easy-to-use website, I personally would highly recommend registering in-store to begin, so you can take advantage of their In-Store experts! Leo was so knowledgeable about literally ALL of the products in the store, and was so helpful at advising what popular “registry items” were, and what products we could probably do without. I admittedly suffer from a little bit of analysis paralysis (plus I know nothing about blenders, lol), so having someone to help Scott and I cut through the noise, saved us tons of time! Leo also walked us through the online registry features and options (they are pretty straightforward, but it was helpful to get an in-person explanation).
Online Registry
While I registered for all the traditional pieces in-store (kitchen items, china, stemware, etc), I added all of my my non-traditional pieces to my registry online following our appointment. Bed Bath + Beyond has furniture and home decor in store, but they have an even wider assortment online. Their online registry tools make it super easy to navigate and add items to your registry. We decided to revamp our living room, so I used the “Idea Boards” tool on their website to create an overall visual for how I wanted our living room to look, and then simply added each item to my registry once I knew everything I wanted. I had never designed an entire room online before, but I was so happy how true to size, and color everything was when it arrived!

The easy way to make sure your registry includes everything you need. You guys know I’m a big time list gal, so having this in digital format was so incredibly helpful.

EASY RETURNS/EXCHANGES
Easy returns and exchanges was huge for us! In addition to registering for some kitchen items, we ended up redesigning our entire living room, which meant that we registered for some furniture and bigger ticket items. If something didn’t work out, we wanted to make sure there wouldn’t be any issue with returns and refunds.
IN-STORE EVENTS
As if that’s not enough, Bed Bath + Beyond also hosts Rock Your Registry In-Store events for engaged couples. At these special evening events, you can get expert registry assistance while you enjoy free food, drinks, decor ideas and gifts!
