The wedding is over, and the to-do list is shorter, but I’m somehow STILL catching up on sleep! Bed Bath & Beyond is known as the sleep expert and destination for an overall better sleep experience, so when they offered to show me how to sleep better, I couldn’t say yes fast enough!
HOW TO SLEEP BETTER
First step? Bed Bath & Beyond asked Scott and I to diagnose ourselves under one of their “sleep personas“. Right away, I categorized myself as “The Overthinker” and Scott fell under “The Knot” sleep persona. Which one are you?

The Overthinker: (ME)
As soon as the lights go out, your brain turns on, leading to restless nights. As soon as I read the definition, I was like…oh this is me! Anyone else in this category too?
The Knot: (SCOTT)
The Knot wakes up feeling like they “slept funny.” The Knot wakes up achy and in pain, no matter what pillow position is attempted. Scott used to complain about his neck being sore every single morning.
The Popsicle is always cold and is constantly piling on more layers of socks, sweatshirts, and bedding. Bed Bath & Beyond has a full line of heated products that can help.

For The Overthinker: (ME)
Bed Bath & Beyond suggested I try their weighted blankets and eye masks, as people find the pressure calming, kind of like a full-body hug. 🙂 I’ve been trying them out since last week, and I especially love the soothing effect that the weighted blankets have on me! I’ve been able to fall asleep much more quickly, and I’ve also been feeling more rested when I wake up.
For The Knot: (SCOTT)
Bed Bath & Beyond suggested supportive pillows and mattress toppers, and Scott is already seeing great results! He is truly one of the most skeptical people out there (lol). He told me his neck actually felt better after just a couple of nights on their pillows, and that he slept all the way through the night…which NEVER happens!
